Morning Prayer - Psalm 121

Mike began by describing one of the ways that God is alive and real his life. His awareness of God’s presence, and the special ways that God helps Mike by placing so many important graces and blessings in his life are testimony to how much he is loved. Mike knows that he is loved by God because Kyle came into and remains a part of his life.

Then we read Psalm 121 (God’s help in life):

I lift up my eyes to the hills - from where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip - He who watches over you will not slumber.
Indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you - the Lord is your shade at your right hand.
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm - He will watch over your life.
The Lord will watch over your coming and going from this time on and forever more.
